Ive been truly fascinated by the messages given in January on the theme of 'waiting on the Lord'. every week was about learning a new aspect to this profound concept, to say the least.

this week, i realised that as much as i desire to wait on the Lord, i am so far from knowing how to really practise it...

reading this, however, brought special perspective, comfort and encouragement to my heart. im not alone in struggling to fully grasp this concept of waiting on the Lord. but as i increasingly learn to place trust in His promises, waiting on Him will get easier and easier with each passing year. :)

today, i am especially thankful for the gift of family. reunion dinners are awesome... (the food is awesome hahaha). but after a year away, i will never take for granted the fact that i have a family to celebrate the new year with.

many things to be thankful for, so much to learn!
